PROMOTE YOUR CLINIC
Once you have obtained the necessary approvals and scheduled your clinic, it is important
to let your members, students, and others in the community know about it!
Efforts to publicize your Let's Fight Flu Together! event should begin the first day of school
and end the day of your clinic. In communities with mass vaccination programs at schools
and other community settings, studies have shown reductions in influenza related symptoms,
medical visits among household contacts, and school absences related to the flu
demonstrating the importance of reducing flu transmission among children through
preventative vaccinations.

Reach out to other groups in your school (athletic, academic, and arts parent support
groups, student clubs, as well as school faculty and staff), community-based youth
organizations, child care providers, civic organizations, churches, and local businesses to
inform them about the
Let's Fight Flu Together! program and the clinic you are hosting.
