Flu Busters, supported by PTA and Families Fighting Flu, developed
a program to help fight the spread of influenza. This program is
designed to educate, motivate, and vaccinate - children, families,
school staff, and other members of the community.
Flu vaccination season starts in late September as soon as the
vaccine becomes available and extends through at least January
each year. Schools are strongly encouraged to schedule and
sign-up to host a flu vaccination clinic in the spring of 2010 to get
its clinic on the 2010-2011 school calendar.
