The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) and
Flu Busters have joined together to fight the spread of influenza
through a program designed to educate, motivate, and
vaccinate - children, families, school staff, and other
members of the community.
Flu vaccination season starts in late September as soon as the vaccine
is available and extends through January each year. Schools are
strongly encouraged to schedule and sign-up to host a flu vaccination
clinic in the spring of 2009 to get the event on the 2009-2010 school
calendar.
